That Traffic Was a Doozy on Friday!
Anyone get stuck in that crazy traffic around James Island on Friday? I planned on working from home since the kids got out of school early, but I also had a few errands to run and wanted to swing by the office on Folly Rd. Then I looked at the traffic on the map and decided to just stay put. If you were in it, hope it wasn’t too bad or rage-inducing.
On a brighter note, the Leadership Charleston orientation retreat was incredible. 72 of us will be going through the program together over the next 10 months. A few I already knew, some I now know, and others I can’t wait to get to know. Our first full session is in October to learn about local government, transit, and transportation. Very fitting after what happened with traffic this week. I’m sure I’ll have plenty to share after that day.
Have a fantastic holiday weekend, and I’ll see you back here next weekend!
